Ok so I think I'll give out a little photo shop secret. So if you find an image off of google or whatever and you would like to use it in one of your own works but aren't sure about copyright laws or whatever here is what you can do. In photo shop if you have the image, go ahead and grab the smudge tool. If you make it a small brush size and begin to go back and forth with the curves and lines of the image you can achieve some cool painterly effects. Then you can go in and select different color ranges and change them or tweak them to make the piece your own. This technique takes a little bit of practice but it is worth the effort.
