I liked the part about only having so many fonts to work with on the web and how people cry about it. I agree with what the article said about how we need to take the fonts available and use our skills as designers to make them them look nice. We will not always have everything that we want as designers at our disposal so we need to learn how to take what we have and make it interesting and cool while still holding its readability. This is why we are creatives and why not everybody can do what we do.

so I have some catching up to do on my blog posts. I'm sure all of you avid coffee drinkers have already noticed but a few months ago Starbucks Coffee launched their new logo design. It is just the mermaid now with a white background and they even dropped their name out of the logo. I don't know if it was a smart choice but at the least it looks cool.
